Epic Change Board members strive to follow these priniciples:
Working Membership
Especially because we are in the early stages of our development, we use our own internal labor to work on projects whenever possible rather than paying for support or assistance in order to minimize costs and maximize the amount of resources that go directly toward aid.
Influence
We see every interaction as a potential opportunity to build support for our organization. We identify and
pursue resources within our personal and professional networks who may help us more effectively support Epic Change initiatives, and we leverage our sphere of influence for fundraising activities.
Personal Investment
We believe in the mission of Epic Change, and therefore support the organization with personal contributions of both time and money.
Optimism
We believe that anything is possible, and we work to make it so.
Commitment
We understand that Board membership requires a substantial investment of our personal time. Because we are dedicated to ensuring the success of our efforts, we agree to attend all board meetings, work on fundraising activities and complete all action items by agreed deadlines.
